SEE Camp is run by students from the Society of Women Engineers at the University of Michigan. In addition to the Directors and Officers listed below, there are about ten other student camp counselors.
COVID-19: Will SEE Camp still be offered this summer?
In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Michigan Center for Engineering Diversity and Outreach (CEDO) has canceled all in-person K-12 programs for this summer in an effort to put everyone’s health, safety, and well-being first. Unfortunately, this cancellation does include SEE Camp. For more information, please see CEDO's website here.
We understand that this announcement is disappointing, and we appreciate all of the hard work that was put into this year's applications. If you are still eligible (current freshman and sophomores), we encourage you to apply again for next year's camp.
High school students of all genders going into grades 10-12.
Do I have to be a U.S. citizen to apply?
No, you don't!
We do not live in Michigan. Will there be other people from out-of-state?
Yes! In the past, SEE Camp has had many out of state and even international campers.
Will my camper be safe?
Yes. The camp follows the University of Michigan’s policy for hosting minors on campus. This includes campers being accompanied by members of the camp staff at all times on campus. More information can be found here:
